A schoolboy from Yamal is studying physics in “Sirius”

A student of the boarding school of Novy Port Nikita Korobkov started his school year in the educational center “Sirius” in Sochi. Under the guidance of a teacher of physics Rinat Askarov the schoolboy passed through the strict selection testing during several months: the educational and selection course and obligatory tests. After all the tests Nikita was invited to the educational center on the program of in-depth education “Physics. Start in science”, as the press service of the administration of Yamalskiy district informs.

Among 120 eight-grade students from different regions of Russia the schoolboy from Yamal studies mechanics, thermal phenomena, laws of direct electric current, participates in seminars on selected problems of kinematics and mass geometry. Cultural and leisure activities and excursions are also planned for the participants of the program.
