A schoolboy from Yamal, who had endured an oncology disease, participated in the games of winners

A schoolboy from Yamal Artur Parda participated in the full-scale tournament among children, who defeated oncology diseases. The program of the Games of Winners included 6 kinds of sport: swimming, athletics, table tennis, chess, air rifle shooting and football. The age of the participants is from 7 to 16 years old. The representative of Yamal participated in three disciplines: running, chess and rifle shooting.

The World Children’s Winners Games that took place in Moscow help children to forget about their diseases and also to come back to active life. This is the largest volunteer project of the charitable foundation “Give Life” (“Podari Zhizn”). Artur Parda was diagnosed with leucosis in 2015. He was sent to Moscow, where he underwent four cycles of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. This spring, when the child was on the next medical examination in the capital, his family received a telephone call, and Artur was asked to become one of the participants in the games of winners.
