A sportsman from Yamal Vladimir Maslennikov won the silver award at the international competitions in Germany

A sportsman from Yamal Vladimir Maslennikov together with Daria Vdovina from Arkhangelsk Oblast won silver medals at the international competitions in air weapon shooting.

The competitions took place in Munich. On the final day of the competitions the sportspeople played medals in the Olympic exercise “Air rifle, 10 meters distance, mixed teams”. 43 teams from 25 countries participated in them. In qualifying the Russian team showed the result 842.4 points, and in the final — 500.9 points.

According to the information given to a correspondent of the news agency “Sever-Press” in the regional department on physical culture and sports, Vladimir Maslennikov is the Honored Master of Sports. At the Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro he won the bronze medal in air rifle shooting at the distance of 10 meters. He is the repeated champion and the prizewinner of all-Russian, European and world championships in shooting. The sportsman trains in the sports club “Olimp” in Noyabrsk under the leadership of the permanent coach of Russia Aleksey Yurkov.
