A win is necessary. Alexandra Goryachkina continues competing for the FIDE Cup

The Russian chess team continues participating in the online competition in the FIDE Nations Cup. Today the Russian national team is playing with the team from China.

In the first round the Russian chess players played a draw with the team of Europe. In her chess game Alexandra Goryachkina from Yamal within the Russian national team played a draw with Anna Muzychuk from Ukraine.

In the second round of the competition the Russian team lost to the team of the USA. Alexandra Goryachkina played a draw in her chess game again.

As it should be reminded, the Chess Nations Cup tournament is being held online from the 5th to the 10th of May. Six teams are participating in the tournament - the teams from Russia, the USA, Europe, India, China and the team “Rest of the world”. They are competing for the prize fund of 180 thousand dollars.
