Arktikgaz fulfilled four-stage formation hydraulic fracturing for the first time in Yamal

The company "Arktikgaz" is an affiliated enterprise of "Gazprom Neft" and "NOVATEK". For the first time in Yamal the company fulfilled four-stage formation hydraulic fracturing in a horizontal well drilled for development of Achimov deposits of Urengoyskoye field.

By the results of the conducted operation a daily production rate of the well exceeded 2 million cubic meters of gas and 770 tons of gas condensate per day. As the agency of oil and gas information "Samotlor-express" informs, it many times exceeds indexes received at use of hydraulic fracturing in directional wells. During half a year operations on complex three- and four-stage hydraulic fracturing were conducted on 5 wells of Urengoyskoye oil, gas, condensate field. Work on optimization of distribution of cracks and pumping of proppant amounts on each stage in a horizontal part of a well is conducted on the hydrodynamic model of Achimov objects. Transfer to drilling of wells with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing on assets of Arktikgaz will allow increasing amounts of extracted gas and condensate, increasing effectiveness of development of extractive fields.
