Arrangement and drilling operations. Rosneft continues developing extractive fields in Yamal

Rosneft continues developing its assets on the territory of Yamal. This is stated in the information on the company’s production results for the past year.

In particular, the talk is about Russkoye field, which was input to operation with use of modern technologies of high-viscous oil extraction. Operations on the energy complex and tests of the pressure pipeline “Russkoye CPF - Zapolyarnoye CODAP” were completed. Construction and installation operations and preparation for the technological startup of basic objects of arrangement are being conducted in conformity with the schedule. At the end of 2018 more than 190 wells with oil production potential in more than 11 thousand tonnes per day were drilled in the field. It is expected that the production level in more than 6 million 500 thousand tonnes will be reached after 2022.

In addition, the active phase of building of key production objects of infrastructure is continued within fulfillment of the project Rospan, the hydro-test of a spherical tank was conducted in the storehouse of technical propane-butane, assemblage of technological equipment was completed at the methanol regeneration unit of the second stage at the gas and condensate treatment unit in Vostochno-Urengoyskoye license area. Operations on assemblage and thermal treatment of spherical tanks, on piping of equipment at the loading rack are continued at the railhead. The launch of the project is planned this year with further growth of gas extraction up to the level in more than 21 milliard cubic meters per year and liquid hydrocarbons – more than 5 million tonnes per year.

Also Rosneft continues fulfillment of the project on development of the gas option of Kharampurskoye field, which is the second promising gas project on amounts of extraction after Rospan. 43 of 61 wells were drilled, 32 of 156 kilometers of the linear pipeline were laid on the gas pipeline of external transport. In the nearest future it is planned to arrange the gas facility of the Cenomanian deposit and to construct a gas treatment unit. The company intends to launch the project in 2020 with next amount of extraction in about 11 milliard cubic meters per year.
