China started delivery of equipment for “Yamal LNG”

China started delivery of the first two modules for the project “Yamal LNG”, which are purposed for production of liquefied natural gas.

As the Chinese Central television informs, they were sent on the 27th of April from an eastern Chinese port city of Qingdao. It is expected that the equipment will be delivered to the Russian port of Sabetta till the end of June. The television informs that till August in total 36 modules will be sent from Qingdao. “Yamal LNG” fulfills the project on building of the plant on production of LNG with the capacity 16 million and 500 thousand tons of LNG per year on resource base of the South-Tambey field. The beginning of production of LNG is planned for 2017. It will last as minimum during 35 years, as TASS informs.
