Commissioning of Kruzenshternskoye field is scheduled for 2028

Commissioning of Kruzenshternskoye field in Yamal is scheduled for 2028. It was announced by Vitaliy Markelov, the deputy chairman of the management board of “Gazprom”.

“In order to meet the forecast demand for the medium-term prospect, “Gazprom” plans to expand its production capacities in the zone of the unified gas supply system, including by commissioning Kruzenshternskoye gas condensate field. According to the plan of measures on development of the Cenomanian deposit of the field, commissioning of Kruzenshternskoye gas condensate field is scheduled for 2028”, Markelov said in an interview with the magazine “Gazprom”.

He adds that a project technological document for development of the field is currently being prepared, as the Agency “Prime” informs. In accordance with the document, technical and technological solutions for development and construction of the field will be defined, as well as the terms of reaching of the maximum project level in gas extraction in 33 milliard cubic meters per year.
