Compatriots from Armenia want to resettle to Yamal

The videoconference on issues of resettlement of compatriots from Armenia, who are interested in the opportunity to move to Yamal, took place in the town Salekhard for the first time.

The studio of the representational office of the Federal Migration Service of Russia in Armenia participated in the videoconference. The participants of the meeting were interested in issues of registration of documents, solving of housing problems, size of wages, climate conditions, level of life in the region and others. By the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" by a representative of the department of international and external economic relations of Yamal Marina Muradova, the program of resettlement of compatriots works in Yamal during already two years. During this time 9 requests from potential participants of the state program from Armenia were received. Four of them were coordinated. All four participants, requests of who were coordinated, already reside in Yamal on legal bases. 230 participants of the program reside in Yamal now. Majority of them already received citizenship of the Russian Federation. A letter of guarantee from an employer, who is ready to take a re-settler to work on professions being required in Yamal, is an obligatory condition of coordination. Experience of work and high qualification of claimants are taken into consideration. Specialists in building branch, gas and oil extraction, spheres of services and trade are necessary today in the region. They should solve housing issues themselves. All people, who give requests, pass obligatory medical examination, and they are checked up in all possible databases. Privilege order of receiving of Russian citizenship is foreseen for participants of the program: time of scrutinizing of requests is decreased, and there is not need to receive a residence permit. Re-settlers, who has experience of conducting of own business, can be busy with entrepreneurship, but only in those spheres, services of which are necessary in a chosen town or a district. The program foresees measures of support for people, who want to move to Yamal – one-time allowance for living arrangement at the new place of residence, compensation for rent of housing and payments to those parents, whose children do not go to kindergarten.
