Construction of the fourth line of “Yamal LNG” will be completed in the third quarter

NOVATEK will complete construction of the fourth line of the plant “Yamal LNG” in the third quarter of 2020, now it is completed by 73%. The information was given by Mark Gyetvay, the deputy chairman of the company’s management board.

As Mark Gyetvay said during a teleconference call, construction would be completed, and commissioning would be started in the third quarter of 2020.

Currently, three production lines with the capacity 5 million 500 thousands tonnes each are launched within the project “Yamal LNG”. The fourth line, which is being built with use of own technology of NOVATEK, will produce almost 1 million tonnes of LNG, as the economic information agency “Prime” informs.
