Delicacies of “Yamal Product” are delivered to kindergartens

The main fish-processing enterprise in the arctic region – the Salekhard fish-processing plant increases its production.

In 2015 the enterprise manufactured 661 tonnes of canned fish or 2 million and 700 thousand tin cans, in 2016 amounts of production increased on 20 percent and made 811 tonnes or 3 million and 400 thousand tin cans. In 2017 it is planned to manufacture about 4 million tin cans, 2 million and 300 thousand cans have been manufactured since the beginning of the year. Every day the enterprise manufactures about 12500 tin cans of canned fish, the following products are the most popular: Natural Syrok in jelly, Siberian vendace smoked in oil, Burbot and Pydschjan (Siberian whitefish) fried in tomato sauce. This information was given in the regional department of agro-industrial complex, trade and foodstuff. The assortment of products of the plant includes about 60 kinds of canned fish and 90 kinds of other fish products: frozen, smoked, dry, salty and culinary such as fish meatballs and rump steaks. They are delivered for nutrition of children to kindergartens of Salekhard. Fish pelmeni (ravioli) are very popular among people in Yamal. The plant manufactures 3.5 tonnes of ravioli per year. Fish-processing and fishing enterprises from Gorki, Aksarka, Novy Port, Salemal are basic providers of fish raw materials for the Salekhard plant. The Salekhard fish-processing plant sells its products under the brand “Yamal Product” known far beyond the limits of the region – in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen. The enterprise is a participant and a prizewinner on prestige domestic and international exhibitions of food products such as “Green Week”, “The Best Product”, “PRODEXPO” and “RYBPROM-EXPO”.
