Dmitriy Kobylkin and Vagit Alekperov signed the agreement about cooperation

The governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the president of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov visited two extractive fields in Tazovskiy district.

In the Pyakyakhinskoye field they reviewed an oil and gas treatment unit that is being built now, a settlement for rotational employees and a fire station. Input of the field to operation is planned for 2016.

Vagit Alekperov noted that all the planned terms would be fulfilled. The head of Yamal and the president of LUKOIL went to the Nakhodkinskoye field. There Dmitriy Kobylkin and Vagit Alekperov signed the agreement about cooperation between the government of the region and the oil company for 2015. This is already the third contract approved within the big agreement, which is calculated for 2014-2016. The document of 2015 foresees extension of mutually profitable cooperation. In particular, LUKOIL will finance building of a row of social objects, houses and social infrastructure in the settlement Tazovskiy, will pay for purchase of equipment and fuel materials for enterprises of agro-industrial complex and medical-diagnostic help to disabled children and will support sports establishments. Help to the charitable fund "Yamine" became a new line in the agreement. After signing of the document Dmitriy Kobylkin noted that cooperation between the government of Yamal and LUKOIL became stronger every year. He thanked Vagit Alekperov for responsible approach to partnership obligations. As the governor underlines, there is recognized need to keep balance between industrial development of the territory, safe attitude to nature of the Arctic and preservation of traditional way of life of indigenous peoples of the North. This combination is a basis of sustainable development of both the business and the territory. Socioeconomic development of the region and development of Russia depend on this cooperation. Therefore, bodies of the state power of Yamal will continue doing their best in order work of oil workers in the region would stay comfortable and, as a result, effective. As Vagit Alekperov says, for the company it is extremely important to understand future of projects being fulfilled on the arctic land. In Yamal LUKOIL feels support, knows that everything that planned will be fulfilled obligatorily. This is especially important today – in such not easy time, as he underlines.
