Dmitry Artyukhov and Stephane le Galles discussed further cooperation and joint projects

In Salekhard the governor of Yamal Dmitry Artyukhov and the vice-president for development and operation of onshore fields, Total’s hydrocarbon exploration and production division Stephane le Galles discussed further cooperation between the government of the region and the company.

“It is a great honor to welcome you to Yamal. The company Total and our region are connected with long-term partnership. Many projects were implemented on our territory. The most famous of them - “Yamal LNG”, in construction of which you took the direct part, is the pride of our country. Another production project is being implemented in the Pur-Taz oil and gas region. The new joint initiative - construction of the plant “Arctic LNG 2” is in the startup mode today”, said Dmitry Artyukhov.

Stephane le Galles thanked the government of the region for administrative support provided to the company during construction of “Yamal LNG”. His contribution to this project is marked with the letter of gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation. On the eve of Russia Day the letter of gratitude was given to Mr. le Galles by the governor of Yamal, as the press service of the head of the region informs.

During the meeting they also spoke about ecological and cultural projects being fulfilled by the government of the region at support of the enterprise in Yamalskiy district, where the plant “Yamal LNG” is situated.
