Equipment for the plant "Yamal LNG" will be made in China

The Chinese company Yamgaz SNC will manufacture equipment on liquefying of natural gas for the plant "Yamal LNG".

In Beijing it signed the contract with the company Offshore Oil Engineering Co Ltd. The cost of the deal makes more than 1 milliard 500 million dollars. As it is informed on the website "Pronedra.ru", the company Yamgaz SNC is the joint enterprise of the Japanese company JGC Corporation and the French company Technip. As we should note, the project "Yamal LNG" foresees building of the plant with capacity 16 million 500 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas per year on the basis of the South-Tambey field. The project also foresees creation of transport infrastructure, including the sea port and the airport near the settlement Sabetta. The shareholders of "Yamal LNG" are: the Russian company "NOVATEK", the French company "Total" and the Chinese company CNPC.
