Equipment was delivered to Tambey group of fields on the Yamal Peninsula

“Gazprom Geologorazvedka” completed the set of preparatory kinds of work for construction of exploratory and prospecting-appraisal wells in Western and Eastern Siberia in 2018.

The total amount of winter delivery exceeded 48 thousand tonnes. Machinery, equipment, materials, diesel fuel were delivered to Tambey group of fields on the Yamal Peninsula, the Verkhne-Vilyuchansk oil, gas, condensate field in Yakutia, Khandinskaya area in Irkutsk region. 334 units of special equipment and vehicles were involved in fulfillment of this time-consuming project. More than 640 kilometers of winter roads were built and restored to organize transportations in Western Siberia. This allowed bringing more than 24 thousand tonnes of cargoes to the fields. More than 280 kilometers of winter roads were built in Eastern Siberia, and also more than 24 thousand tonnes of materials and equipment were transported to production objects, as the service on public relations of “Gazprom Geologorazvedka” reports. Winter delivery is the most important link in the cycle of geological prospecting. Timely provision of production objects with equipment and materials allowed starting the program of drilling timely this year, as the director general of “Gazprom Geologorazvedka” Aleksey Davydov notes. In addition, the large amount of work was fulfilled on demobilization of equipment from the sites, where construction of wells was fully completed, as the company’s service on public relations informs. Land reclamation and restoration will be fulfilled after that, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
