Extraction of gas condensate is increased in Yamal

4 million and 111 thousand tons of gas condensate were extracted in Yamal in the first quarter of this year. It is on 6.4 percent more in comparison to the analogous period of last year.

The amount of extracted gas made about 148 milliard and 810 million cubic meters. Extraction of oil made 5 million and 310 thousand tons. 82.7 percent of the total amount of extraction is on the account of affiliated enterprises of "Gazprom". "Gazprom Neft" is the leader on oil extraction – 59.6 percent of oil extraction, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. 71.4 percent of the total extraction of condensate in fields of Yamal is on the account of Gazprom. By the words of the governor of Yamal Dmitriy Kobylkin, now Russia has another big "wing" – liquefied natural gas of the project "Yamal LNG". This is an additional powerful production sector in energy branch. Of course, the future is for oil and gas chemistry. Economy of the region develops deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials. The gas-chemical complex in Noviy Urengoy will be opened in 2016, as the governor underlines.
