Fish from Yamal will be delivered to near foreign countries

The fish-processing plant of Salekhard will be the first - in modern Russia - to deliver fish products from Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for export. Now the company is passing through the inspection for compliance with the requirements of the Customs Union. After the certification is completed, it will be possible to export fish products to neighboring countries - Belarus may be the first. The information was given to a correspondent of the news agency “Sever-Press” at the enterprise.

The fish-processing plant of Salekhard is the largest fish-processing enterprise in Yamal. It produces more than 60 types of canned food and 90 types of fish products: smoked, dried, salted, culinary, as well as semi-finished products. The production capacity of the plant allows processing more than 6 thousand tonnes of fish per year, producing about 4 million cans of canned food and manufacturing other high-quality products.

The plant is included in the register of manufacturers and suppliers of natural and safe products.

Currently, a new product - dried fish straw (snacks) under the brand “Yamalka” are in high demand among buyers in Yamal. The “PREMIUM” class segment under the brand “SIBERIYA” has also been expanded - preserves in a glass jar of six types in different sauces.

Since the beginning of this year the joint product of two enterprises of Yamal has also appeared: Sobsky fish-farming plant and the fish-processing plant of Salekhard. It is the rainbow trout smoked cold and hot and slightly salted, as well as two types of preserves - in vinegar-oil sauce and with addition of northern berries.
