Fishermen of Yamal caught more than 920 tons of fish during the first quarter

During the first quarter of this year Yamal fishing and agricultural enterprises of different forms of property caught more than 920 tons of fish.

Though this is on 150 tons less than during the first three months of last year, and decrease was marked practically in all agricultural municipalities of Yamal, fishermen intend to make up the lost time and to fulfill the plan during the year, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. The decrease is explained with unfavorable natural and climate conditions. Fishermen of Tazovskiy district show the most stable indexes – 154 tons and 84.8 tons of fish are on the account of two fishing enterprises of the district. Fishermen of Priuralskiy district caught 170 tons of fish till the beginning of April. It is on 24 tons more than last year. Fishermen of Yamalskiy district reported about 84 tons of caught fish. And Shuryshkarskiy district showed the result in more than 78 tons. 19 fishing and 12 agricultural enterprises and also family communities of indigenous northerners are busy with industrial fishing in Yamal during this season. About 2000 people are busy in this sphere.
