“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” increased gas production by 15 milliard cubic meters

In 2018 “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” delivered more than 164 milliard cubic meters of gas to the Unified gas supply system. This is on 15 milliard cubic meters more than in 2017 and is about one third of the annual production of “Gazprom”. The amount of extracted gas condensate remained at the level of the previous year and made more than 4 million tonnes.

The company continued transfer of Zapolyarnoye field to the stage of compressor extraction, as the service on public relations and communication with mass media of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” informs. At the end of last year a booster compressor station started its work at the 2nd complex gas treatment plant (UKPG-2S). Its main equipment includes seven gas pumping units with the total capacity 112 Megawatt. The units, their driven gas turbine engines and centrifugal blowers of natural gas were produced in Russia. The complex automation system of the booster compressor station is also of domestic production. Three Cenomanian gas deposits of Zapolyarnoye field will have three booster compressor stations. In 2017 the booster compressor station was input to operation at UKPG-3S; in the future such station will be built at UKPG-1S.

In autumn the acceptance tests of a modular compressor unit were started in Yamburgskoye field, the unit is designed to solve the problem of low-pressure gas extraction. It is designed by Russian designers; all its components are made by domestic manufacturers. After completion of the tests the decision on mass production of modular compressor units will be taken. In the future it is planned to install modular compressor units throughout Yamburgskoye field.

The prospects of the gas company are associated with development of northern extractive fields of the region. Preparation to access to the shelf of the Gulf of Ob is taking place now. In 2018 designing of arrangement of Kamennomysskoye-Sea field was completed. This year it is planned to conduct departmental, ecological and state expert examination of the project documentation.

The company pays great attention to the project on improvement of safety culture. Its main goal is to achieve the complete absence of accidents at the enterprise. In 2018 the high level of occupational safety management at “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” was confirmed by the certificate of compliance with OHSAS 18001:2007 issued by the Certification Association “Russian Register”.

Production successes of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” in 2018 were marked with a number of awards. The collective of the gas production company was recognized as the best among subsidiaries of “Gazprom” in the sphere of rationalization and inventive activity. Also employees of the enterprise were awarded with the public prize named after Baybakov and the national ecological award named after Vernadsky.
