"Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" will develop the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea

The company "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" counts to extract the first gas in the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea after 2023.

Infrastructural development of the field will require for more than 190 milliard rubles of investments. Majority of the funds will be spent on building of a platform and drilling of wells. This information was given to neftegaz.ru by the director general of "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" Oleg Arno. Kamennomysskoye-Sea is situated in the southern part of the Gulf of Ob – the largest bay of the Kara Sea, in the place, where the depth of the sea makes 11-17 meters. Geological reserves of the field make 534 milliard and 700 million cubic meters of gas. Gazprom decided to start designing infrastructural development of the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea on the shelf of the Gulf of Ob in August of 2013. This January the deputy director general on prospective development of "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" Sergey Kuropatkin declared that development of the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea was comparable by its significance to Prirazlomnoye field situated on the shelf of the Pechora Sea. "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" intends to develop 10 fields, including Kamennomysskoye-Sea and the North-Kamennomysskoye field. The largest field Kamennomysskoye-Sea will be the first to develop. Last year the company started designing infrastructural development, in 2018-2019 it is planned to start building work. Next it is planned to start development of the North-Kamennomysskoye field. It is planned to start design and survey work in 2016, and in 2021 – to start its infrastructural development. The coastal technological complex, including two complex gas treatment plants, an electric power station for own needs, a settlement for workers, a base of supply will be built for preparation of gas from Kamennomysskoye-Sea and the North-Kamennomysskoye field on Cape Parusniy. Infrastructural development of the North-Kamennomysskoye field will require for more than 90 milliard rubles of investments. The substantiation of the investments was fulfilled, and now it is under departmental examination. Projects on development are being fulfilled on other promising shelf and continental fields.
