"Gazprom Neft" keeps leading positions in oil branch

Fulfillment of the investment program of the company for 6 months was scrutinized within the sitting of the board of directors of "Gazprom Neft". As it is noted, "Gazprom Neft" kept its leading positions in the branch on tempos of production growth and increase in amounts of oil processing.

In addition, the company achieved for good results in indexes of efficiency, as return on invested capital and specific cash flow from operations per barrel of oil equivalent. Hydrocarbon extraction in the first half of the year reached about thirty-two million tons in oil equivalent. This is on four percent more than in the same period last year. As it is reported to IA "Sever-Press" in the press-center of the company, the board of directors also made changes in the investment program of "Gazprom Neft" for 2014. Financial support for the project increased on sixteen percent and made about 338 milliard rubles. The main change in the amount of the investment program of "Gazprom Neft" is connected with increase in an effective share of ownership in "SeverEnergy" and also with growth of investments to oil extraction in traditional and new assets of the company. The results of work of "Gazprom Neft" for six months confirmed active development of the company, which keeps leading positions in oil industry on indexes of efficiency. Already now it is clear that growth of production in "Gazprom Neft" by the results of the year will exceed five percent in oil equivalent, and net income will be more than the planned indexes on twenty percent, as it is said by the Chairman of the Board of "Gazprom" Aleksey Miller.
