"Gazprom Neft" started building infrastructure in the East-Messoyakhskoye field

"Gazprom Neft" started building objects of infrastructure in the East-Messoyakhskoye field.

During work of winter roads – only on them it is possible to deliver cargoes – the operator of the project delivered more than 27 thousand tons of material-technical resources, more than 5200 tons of diesel fuel. Preparation of areas for the future objects of infrastructure was completed: sand filling of swampy territory made 2 million and 300 thousand cubic meters of sand. 130 units of heavy machinery and about 150 accommodation wagons for builders are concentrated in the oilfield today. This information was given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the branch "Messoyakha" of the company "Gazprom Neft – Razvitiye". Reservoirs of different size for treatment and storage of oil and water will be assembled on building sites of the central point of collection and the point of commercial registration of oil. Fire-fighting reservoirs and foundation for gas-turbine aggregates will be prepared for the electric power station. Building of the pressure oil pipeline with the length 105 kilometers from the East-Messoyakhskoye field to the acceptance transfer unit will start in the 4th quarter of the year. Oil will be transported along it to the main pipeline system "Zapolyarye-Purpe". Owing to delivery of necessary materials and machinery to the territory during the winter, building of the oil pipeline can be started already in November – on two months earlier, without waiting for construction of ice passages during the next winter season. As it is informed in the branch "Messoyakha" of the company "Gazprom Neft – Razvitiye", the company chose contractors for building of all the objects of infrastructure necessary for startup of the field; accommodation wagons, equipment and materials were delivered to the building site. The conducted work and high tempo of building will allow input the field to operation in the scheduled time – in the end of 2016. The group of Messoyakha fields includes the East-Messoyakhskoye and the West-Messoyakhskoye areas. The licenses for both areas belong to the company "Messoyakha-neftegaz", which is controlled by "Gazprom Neft" and "Rosneft" on parity basis. "Gazprom Neft" fulfills functions of the operator of the project. The fields were discovered in 1980-s. They are the northernmost of known oil fields of Russia situated on land. Messoyakha group is situated in Tazovskiy district, in arctic climate zone, in the region with non-developed infrastructure.
