“Gazpromneft-Muravlenko” confirmed its conformity to the international standard for energy efficiency

“Gazpromneft-Muravlenko” was recognized the enterprise completely corresponding to the international standard in the sphere of energy management (ISO 50001:2011).

In August an auditor of DQS checked all the subdivisions of the administrative apparatus, workshop personnel involved in the process of energy saving and energy efficiency. The audit was conducted in the following spheres: management responsibility, energy efficiency, competency, education and awareness of the personnel, operations management, purchase of energy services, goods and equipment. According to the audit results, eight production processes received the highest mark and were recognized the strong sides of the enterprise in the sphere of energy management. Receiving by “Gazpromneft-Muravlenko” of the certificate of conformity to requirements of the international standard for energy management became the result of the audit, as the board of corporate communications of the company informs. The approved program on energy efficiency that involves all the structural subdivisions of the enterprise works in “Gazpromneft-Muravlenko”. It is planned that by the end of the year economizing from fulfillment of all the planned activities will be about 54 million kilowatt/hour per year. Conformity to the international standard for energy management increases the prestige of the enterprise and the company and will be an additional motivation to improve processes of energy efficiency, as the director general of the company Valery Chikin says.
