German friends prepared a nice gift for the anniversary of Noviy Urengoy

The company Wintershall Dea and the city of Kassel congratulated Noviy Urengoy on its 45th anniversary and sent its residents a musical greeting - a concert by the string quartet named after Louis Spohr from Kassel. It was recorded specifically for the anniversary of the gas capital. On behalf of all residents, the head of the town Ivan Kostogryz thanked German friends for such a nice gift.

“Our cooperation with Kassel lasts already 15 years. This is not just business cooperation. Our relationship can be called friendly. We are always happy to see our partners at celebrations dedicated to the Town Day and the Day of oil and gas industry workers, to celebrate these wonderful holidays together. Unfortunately, this year’s plans were broken with the difficult epidemiological situation. I am grateful that our colleagues remember us. I am sure that a great gift - a concert by the string quartet - will be appreciated not only by connoisseurs of classical music, but also by all the audience”, he noted.

The TV version of the concert of the string quartet named after Louis Spohr will be available on 5th of September at 12 o’clock on the channel “Impulse” (Noviy Urengoy), as the information and analytical board of the town administration reports.

According to the lord mayor of Kassel Christian Geselle, thanks to exchange programs, as well as regular online conferences, the German side laid the solid foundation for great collaboration with Noviy Urengoy. That partnership makes significant contribution to development of both cities, strengthens mutual understanding and, eventually, contributes to development of German-Russian relations and peaceful interaction.

According to Mario Mehren, the chairman of the Board of Wintershall Dea, the company is strongly connected with Noviy Urengoy. Joint ventures are located in the region, thus, there is an opportunity to observe dynamics of development of the prosperous, modern city on the daily basis. Noviy Urengoy is a special place for the German partners: economic cooperation was developed into close partnership in technological, educational, cultural and social spheres.
