Ice-class tankers transport gas from “Yamal LNG” in normal mode

The project “Yamal LNG” received a notice from the company owner and operator of LNG-tankers of Arc7 ice class TC LNG Shipping L.L.C. (TC LNG) that it was no longer a blocked person under the rules of the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. This information was given to the news agency “Sever-Press” in the press-service of “NOVATEK”. TC LNG continues transporting LNG by ice-class tankers from the project “Yamal LNG” in normal mode.

The company NOVATEK is the largest independent producer of natural gas in Russia. In 2017 the company entered the international gas market due to the successful launch of the project “Yamal LNG”. Extractive fields and license areas of NOVATEK are located mainly in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug – the world’s largest region on extraction of natural gas.
