In the end of November the first two hundred tons of venison from Yamal will be sent to Finland

The demand for venison in Yamal was not decreased because of the outbreak of anthrax. Contracts with processing complexes were not canceled. For example, Finnish colleagues are ready two times to increase deliveries.

The first consignment – 200 tons of venison – will be sent to Finland in the end of November. This information was given by the chief of the office at the department of agro-industrial complex, trade and foodstuff of Yamal Andrey Revnivikh on the briefing in the press-center of the news agency “Sever-Press”. According to his information, first of all, the internal market of the region will be provided with venison. It will be delivered to social establishments: schools, kindergartens and hospitals. Also Russian regions are waiting for the meat: Chelyabinsk, Tyumen and Kurgan regions, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. A big part of venison will be sent for processing. Products of the enterprise “Yamalskiye Oleni” (Yamal Reindeer) are especially popular in the region and beyond its limits. Several investment suggestions on production of stewed venison were received.
