In the seaport of Sabetta the custom office of Yamal accelerated registration of cargoes

During 10 months in the seaport of Sabetta the Salekhard customs point of the Yamal-Nenets custom office registered 2067 containers with the cost about 377 million rubles.

Custom payments on the sum 139 million and 485 thousand rubles were allocated to the federal budget. This sum two times exceeds the indexes of last year (827 containers with the cost more than 192 million rubles), and the amount of customs payments to the federal budget made 59 million and 520 thousand rubles. The cargo turnover of goods in the seaport of Sabetta grows every year. Cargoes necessary for fulfillment of the largest investment project in the Russian Federation – construction of the plant on production of liquefied natural gas and development of the South-Tambey field – are transported to this location. Acceleration of processes of customs registration considerably accelerates construction of the object. Customs officers of Yamal widely use modern information technologies, which accelerate processes of customs operations, decreasing time of release of goods. At use of such information technology as preliminary declaration a participant of external economic activity does not need to place containers in temporary storage warehouses. It considerably decreases financial and temporal costs for input of imported goods into the production cycle. This information was given by the chief of the organizational and analytical branch of the Yamal-Nenets customs office Anastasia Filippenko. All ships arriving to the settlement Sabetta are registered with use of preliminary informing of customs bodies.
