In Tyumen Dmitriy Kobylkin told about investment policy of Yamal

Fulfillment of full-scale investment projects in oil-gas and transport spheres will stay the basic economic mission of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for the coming prospect.

It was declared by the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin on the conference about fulfillment of investment policy in Tyumen Oblast, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. It was conducted by the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in Ural Federal Okrug Igor Kholmanskikh in Tyumen. Among such projects the governor especially underlines development of extractive fields of the Yamal peninsula and adjoining water areas, creation of the center for production of liquefied natural gas on the Yamal peninsula with plans on extension owing to extractive fields of the Gydan peninsula, construction of the sea arctic port in Sabetta, which will be used for transportation of hydrocarbon raw materials and also as the multi-purpose trade port, development of oil extraction in the north-east of the region, along the line of the oil pipeline "Zapolyarye – Purpe". Big efforts are taken for faster startup of the project "The Northern Latitudinal Route", which is purposed to integrate the transport system of Russia into logistic infrastructure of the Arctic zone, as Dmitriy Kobylkin underlines. However, by the words of the governor, if to exclude oil-gas sector, then, as analysis of competitive advantages shows, fulfillment of three basic kinds of projects can be successful. These are local projects orientated on satisfaction of interior demand of the region (fresh vegetables, meat, bakery products) and also projects in the sphere of services. Small business can fulfill them successfully. The second kind includes projects, fulfillment of which is aimed at production of goods, for which a high share of a transport component in the prime cost is characteristic (first of all, heavy and large building materials). The third kind includes projects aimed at the external market, both Russian and world. It touches upon production of so-called brand goods of Yamal orientated on a high consumer segment (products of reindeer husbandry, fish-processing, wild plants and herbs), as the head of the region informs. Investment potential of Yamal is not limited with these directions. The government of the region takes big efforts for development of transport infrastructure. The governor is sure that it will allow removing many restrictions and extending the list of projects potentially successful for fulfillment. Besides, energy sphere of the region will receive active development during the coming years. Till 2020 it will completely satisfy demands of economy of the region.
