In Yamal national-cultural autonomies received subsidies for projects

The results of the second regional contest on giving of subsidies to national-cultural autonomies were summed up in Salekhard.

By the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the department of internal policy of Yamal, the contest is being conducted for state support of projects and programs of national-cultural autonomies of Yamal. 4 requests were received – from Chuvash autonomy (the town Muravlenko), Bashkir autonomy (from Noyabrsk), Tatar autonomy and Mari autonomy from Salekhard were received. As it is said in the department, all the projects are interesting, they will help to preserve and develop culture of these peoples. This task is very important, moreover within the Year of national unity announced in Yamal. The President of Russia also calls to unity. It is planned to continue the contest next year. This year the total size of the contest fund makes 1 million and 200 thousand rubles. At scrutinizing of the applications, the committee considered importance, economical and social effectiveness of the presented projects. By the decision of the contest committee, all the participating communities will receive subsidies.
