“Inspiration” gives new opportunities to “Shining” of Noviy Urengoy

The results of the tenth international online contest for choreographic groups “Inspiration” were summed up in Saint Petersburg. The exemplary dance ensemble “Siyaniye” (Shining) from Noviy Urengoy was awarded with the laureate diploma of the first degree.

The head of the ensemble Gulnara Davydova and the ballet master Alexander Stiblin received the letter of gratitude for their professionalism.

In addition, the jury member Nikita Kharitonov selected the collective for participation in the contest for laureates, which will be held this autumn.

The contest was attended by collectives from 13 countries: Germany, China, Estonia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, DPR, LPR, Uzbekistan and Russia. In total, 2955 applications were received.

The dance ensemble has been on the stage of Noviy Urengoy for thirty-five years. It was created in 1983 as part of the song and dance ensemble “Gornist” (bugler), and in 2008 it became an independent club. Over the years the ensemble has given about 1000 concerts at various venues in the town and beyond its limits and has repeatedly participated in national and international festivals and contests. The collective won hundreds of diplomas.
