It is possible and it needs to attract indigenous population of the Far North to enterprises working on these territories. It was declared by the manager on industrial security and labor protection at the company "Yamal LNG" Svetlana Mozhar on the forum on industrial security in Saint-Petersburg.

As she notes, specialists, who arrive to the north go through the difficult period of climate adaptation that can take 10-15 years. During all this time human organism is placed into extreme conditions, disease rate of workers is high. Inhabitants of southern districts are especially subjected to this. Therefore, it needs to scrutinize education and job placement of ethnic minorities of the Far North as a prospective direction. As it is informed on the portal "Agency of business news" (abnews.ru), the expert calls development of the Far North extremely promising, as about 80 percent of natural resources of the country are concentrated on this territory. The forum on industrial security is of international character and conducted for organizing of cooperation of different enterprises and countries of the world on prevention from technogenic catastrophes, for development of legislation and exchange of experience between specialists of different branches of industry. The program of the forum included 11 sessions and 42 reports about specifics of exploitation of deepwater pipelines, security of exploitation of remote objects in conditions of the Far North, fire safety of maritime stationary platforms on the continental shelf.
