Larisa Kuklina joined the reserve of the women’s national team of Russia on biathlon

The Board of the Russian Biathlon Union approved staff of national teams to train for the season 2018 - 2019.

The main women’s biathlon team consists of 8 sportswomen representing St. Petersburg, Udmurtia, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug -Yugra, Perm Krai, Murmansk, Sverdlovsk and Tyumen regions. Also 8 women joined the women’s reserve team. Larisa Kuklina, who represents Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, is among them. The main and the reserve teams will train according to one and the same program; together they will pass pre-season training on ones and the same locations, as the media service of the Russian Biathlon Union reports. In mid-November the sportspeople will participate in the qualifying event. Staff of teams for the World Cup and IBU Cup will be announced according to their results.
