Laureates were announced in the contest for the awards of Yamal classic writers
The results were summed up, and the laureates were defined in the contest for the special awards named after Prokopiy Saltykov, Leonid Laptsuy and Sergey Irikov for the best coverage of the topic of preservation and development of cultural heritage in languages of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in printed publications in 2020. In total, 18 applications were received from candidates for participation in the contest; all of them were allowed to participate in it.
Semyon Yadne was recognized as the winner in the nomination “For the best coverage of preservation and development of cultural heritage of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North in the language of Nenets people in printed publications” for the work “Myani ter pang khari ya nya’amna” (“Family lineage in the destiny of the country”).
Venera Yaungad became the winner in the nomination “For the best coverage of preservation and development of cultural heritage of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North in the language of Khanty people in printed publications” with the work “Vul, ay Khul veltyt” (“Big little fisherman”).
In the nomination “For the best coverage of preservation and development of cultural heritage of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North in the language of Selkoup people in printed publications” the diploma of the winner will be given to Margarita Morokova for the work “Icha”.
Three grants from the governor of 50 thousand rubles each were transferred to personal accounts of the winners, as the press service of the governor of Yamal reports.
The results of the contest will be published on the website of the regional department for indigenous affairs of the North.
