Leonid Mikhelson: the plant “Yamal LNG” is ready more than on a half

Investments to “Yamal LNG” made 18 milliard and 500 million dollars. At that, the first stage of the plant is ready on 76%, in total – on 60%.

This information was given by the head of NOVATEK Leonid Mikhelson to journalists on the Eastern Economic Forum in his answer about the size of funds invested to building of the plant. The project of building of the plant on production of liquefied natural gas with the capacity 16 million and 500 thousand tons of LNG per year on resource base of the South-Tambey field is being fulfilled by the company “Yamal LNG”. The shareholders of the company are: NOVATEK (50.1%), Total (20%), CNPC (20%) and the Silk Road Fund (9.9%), as TASS informs.
