NOVATEK entered in the authorized capital of the company "Arctic LNG 1"

The company "NOVATEK" entered in the authorized capital of the company "Arctic LNG 1", which is the user of Geofizicheskoye subsurface area in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug that includes the extractive field with the same name.

According to the base of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the authorized capital of this company grew from 10 million rubles up to 1 milliard and 750 million rubles due to entering of NOVATEK. As we should note, "Arctic LNG 1" purchased one more subsurface area with resources in 1 trillion cubic meters of gas, which is situated near Geofizicheskoye subsurface area. The companies "Arctic LNG 1", "Arctic LNG 2" and "Arctic LNG 3" are related organizations of NOVATEK. They are included into the list of organizations, which received the right for export of liquefied natural gas (LNG), according to the instruction of the government of the Russian Federation. "Arctic LNG 2" has the license for Salmanovskoye (Utreneye) subsurface area with the extractive field with the same name, "Arctic LNG 3" – the license for development of the North-Ob licensed area that is situated on coastal lines of the Yamal and the Gydan peninsulas. Reserves of Geofizicheskoye area are evaluated in 211 milliard and 500 million cubic meters of gas and almost 50 million tons of oil and condensate (C1 and C2), as the informational and analytical agency "PortNews" informs. As we should remind, in Yamal NOVATEK fulfills the project "Yamal LNG" that supposes building of the plant on liquefying of natural gas with capacity 16 million and 500 thousand tons per year and the sea port of Sabetta for organizing of LNG export.
