NOVATEK published the report: extraction and sale of natural gas grows

The amount of natural gas extraction by NOVATEK in the second quarter and the first half of 2018 increased on 4.2% and 3.2%, respectively. At the same time, the amount of extraction of liquid hydrocarbons changed a little (increased on 0.3% and decreased on 0.4%, respectively).

The operational indicators of the second quarter and the first half of the year were significantly influenced with startup of production at the first stage of the plant “Yamal LNG” at the end of 2017, as well as purchase of new production fields at the end of last and in the first quarter of this year – Beregovoye, West-Yaro-Yakhinskoye and Syskonsyninskoye. Sales of natural gas of NOVATEK in the second quarter and the first half of the year made 15 milliard and 100 million cubic meters and 35 milliard and 400 million cubic meters, having increased on 5.3% and 6.9%, respectively, in comparison to the same period of 2017. It was influenced with the beginning of deliveries of liquefied natural gas from the enterprise “Yamal LNG” to international markets and growth of sales in Russia, as the press center of NOVATEK informs.
