Noviy Urengoy is preparing to start up the gas-chemical complex

The head of the administration of Noviy Urengoy Ivan Kostogryz with his deputies and specialists on economic development visited the Noviy Urengoy gas-chemical complex, where he met with the administration of the enterprise. They discussed prospects of development of production and cooperation.

This information was given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the informational and analytical board at the administration of Noviy Urengoy. As Ivan Kostogryz underlines, the sides are interested in constructive dialogue. Territorially the enterprise is situated in Purovskiy district, but majority of employees live in the town Noviy Urengoy and remote areas. And the whole social infrastructure - kindergartens, schools, hospitals – is also situated in the town. Therefore, of course, it needs to develop cooperation. The director general of the Noviy Urengoy gas-chemical complex Anatoly Slizkiy confirmed interest in the dialogue with bodies of local self-government of Noviy Urengoy. As he notes, the town is important, now there are more than 1000 people in the collective. Besides, 3000 people from contractual enterprises work here, and on the top of the building process their number will reach 7000 people. The collective of the complex will two times grow after startup of the enterprise. The administration of the enterprise is mainly focused on local human resources. It is planned to use the rotation method of work only at absence of employees of a required profession (qualification) on the labor market of the town. As Ivan Kostogryz notes, cooperation with the enterprise can be fulfilled also in educational sphere. Several specialized classes were opened at support of gas-extracting companies of the town. For the town it is the opportunity to conduct targeted work with schoolchildren, orientating them to selection of professions required in Noviy Urengoy and Yamal. For the company it is the opportunity to select personnel, to educate young specialists, who will be necessary for the enterprise after startup of the basic production. The head of the town administration and his deputies assessed amounts of the future production during the excursion around the territory of the complex. Beside basic workshops on manufacturing of products there are objects of economic and engineering infrastructure. A settlement for workers (for 4500 people) was built near the production. As Anatoly Slizkiy tells, in the prospect the administration of the enterprise sees the opportunity to enlarge production capacities, to develop cooperation with small and medium business. As Ivan Kostogryz underlines, the authorities foresee close cooperation with the gas-chemical complex in the concept of innovative development of the town. And it means that joint projects will assist to solving of important issues of life activity of the town and preservation of stable social climate in it.
