Participants from all over Russia gathered together to Yamal Oil and Gas Forum

Yamal oil and gas forum, which gathered participants from all over Russia, was started in Noviy Urengoy. The program of the event is scheduled for two days. The forum is being organized by the government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the town administration.

The fourteenth interregional specialized exhibition “Oil. Gas. New technologies - to the Far North” was started on the 12th of March. The guests were welcomed by a deputy governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Alexander Mazharov at the opening ceremony, which was held in the business center “Yamal”.

“It is very important for us that people arrive in Yamal from all over the country. We welcome our guests. Your technologies are ones of the best in the world. You create new jobs. I wish your participation in the forum to be productive and wish you to find business partners here”, he said.

The participants were also welcomed by the head of the town Ivan Kostogryz: “Multi-thousand collectives of oil and gas industry are concentrated in Noviy Urengoy, enterprises that were and remain the flagship of gas industry work here. It is very important that manufacturers of equipment that are represented at the exhibition today became closer to consumers - companies and service enterprises that use these technologies. I am glad that the geography of the exhibition is expanding. I wish you meaningful and interesting dialogue and new joint plans”.

Alexander Mazharov and Ivan Kostogryz got acquainted to the exhibitors and communicated to the representatives of the companies. More than 80 companies from all over the country are participating in the specialized exhibition this year, as the information and analytical office of the town administration reports. The companies from Vladimir, Surgut, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Saratov, Tyumen, Perm, Tomsk, Kurgan, Ryazan, Samara, Penza, Rostov-on-Don and other Russian cities are presenting their services and products.

Within the exhibition it is possible to get acquainted with production of oil and gas equipment, pumps, pipe fittings, metering devices for oil, gas and heat energy, led equipment for oil and chemical industry, fire-resistant materials. Also it is possible to learn about advantages of off-road and load-lifting equipment, various tools, design and construction of oil and gas facilities. The results of their activity were also presented by the largest enterprises of Yamal, the town-forming organizations of Noviy Urengoy: Gazprom dobycha Urengoy, Gazprom dobycha Yamburg and Severneftegazprom.

The exhibition will run for two days. Traditionally, it precedes the work of the forum. On the 13th of March the business center will host the plenary session on modern fuel and energy technologies in conditions of climate change in the Far North. The participants will discuss the issues of global warming and regional characteristics of climate change. The representatives of Gazprom Neft, Wintershall Dea Russia GmbH and other companies will tell about new projects in the process of development of extractive fields. The panel session on ecological monitoring system of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, current situation and prospects of development will take place in the second half of the day.
