People of Yamal approved engineering survey in the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea

The public hearings dedicated to engineering survey in the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea on water area of the Gulf of Ob took place in the town Nadym, the settlement Tazovskiy, the settlements Mys Kamenniy and Novy Port.

A representative of the general designer – the enterprise "Krasnoyarskgazprom Neftegazproekt" organized the hearings. The acting deputy director general on prospective development of the enterprise "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" Sergey Kuropatkin considers that the hearings were effective. In general population approved the planned engineering survey. Of course, there were questions that touched upon ecology, but the specialists assured the inhabitants that they would take all the measures on minimization of influence on environment. In addition to engineering survey, the inhabitants were interested in further prospects of development of the field, new working places and opportunities of job placement. This information was given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the service on public relations and communication with mass media of "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg". The field Kamennomysskoye-Sea was discovered in 2000. Its reserves make 535 milliard cubic meters of natural gas. Industrial extraction in the shelf field will be started approximately in 6-7 years and will be conducted with capacities of 42 wells. It is planned to start installation of an ice-resistant platform and assemblage of gas pipelines on water area of the Gulf of Ob in 2018-2019. For the prospect there is a row of fields near Yamburg. They will be developed by means of the interrelated technological complex with transit of gas through available capacities in Yamburgskoye field.
