Powerlifting veterans from Noviy Urengoy became the world champions

Sportspeople from Noviy Urengoy showed the excellent results at the Powerlifting Championships Potchefstroom South Africa 2019, which took place from the 6th to the 13th of October. The competitions were conducted among veterans of this kind of sport. About 300 sportspeople from 50 countries of the world participated in them.

The sportspeople from Noviy Urengoy achieved the excellent results at the tournament. Maksim Pikalyuk won the title of the world champion in the weight category 105 kilograms. Konstantin Pavlov became the world champion in the weight category 59 kilograms Yevgeniy Stepanov took the second place in the weight category 74 kilograms.
