Production of arctic fast-food will be started in Yamal till the end of the year
The Nadym branch of the scientific center for exploration of the Arctic at participation of the regional department on science and innovations and the technological park "Yamal" are creating the laboratory, on the basis of which experimental production of arctic fast-food will be started till the end of the year.
Instead of famous instant noodles and instant potatoes the scientists of Yamal intend to suggest innovative dishes: croutons of unleavened dough based on sphagnum with sauce of reindeer moss and herbs, bread, chocolate made with use of arctic products. This food does not contain genetically modified substances, soy, chemical preservatives, coloring agents and stabilizers. Food fibers assisting to eliminate toxins from the digestive tract, and biologically active substances helping organism to adapt to severe conditions of the Far North, faster to restore strength after physical, mental and emotional loads are added instead. This information was given by the deputy director of the scientific center for exploration of the Arctic, doctor of medical sciences Andrey Lobanov. The scientists intend to organize production of the innovative food products on licensed agreements with businesspeople from Yamal and other regions. The line for production of substrates for further manufacturing of food in any point of the country can be created for this under control of the employees of the scientific center for exploration of the Arctic. It is planned to involve indigenous people of Yamal, who reside on rural territories, to stock up raw materials, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. As we should note, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the meeting with representatives of the council of legislators at the Federal Assembly declared about the necessity to develop of public catering enterprises in the country on the basis of national cuisines.
