Representatives of Yamal went to Artek for medals

Young sportspeople of Yamal went to Artek to the finals of the All-Russian Festival of GTO (ready for labor and defense). It will take place from the 19th of October to the 4th of November.

During more than two weeks the participants will compete in creative, educational and sports programs, after that the team-winner of the festival will be defined.

Selection of the participants to the team of Yamal took place in May in the town Noyabrsk, where the young sportspeople competed in running, sports shooting, pushups, long jumps and other kinds of trials. By the results of the competitions the team of the arctic region included representatives of the towns Muravlenko, Gubkinskiy and Purovskiy district. All the young people are owners of golden decorations of the GTO complex.

This year 654 participants from 83 subjects of the country will compete for the right to receive the main award of the festival.
