Representatives of Yamal won medals within the championship and competitions of Europe on Shotokan Karate

The sportspeople from Noyabrsk within the national team of Russia won two silver and two bronze medals within the championship and competitions of Europe on Shotokan Karate in Serbia.

According to the information given to a correspondent of IA “Sever-Press” in the regional department on physical culture and sport, in the competitions of Europe on Karate among boys of 12 years old Timofey Fazly became the twice silver prizewinner in the discipline Kata and Kumite. Victoria Myakota from Noyabrsk among girls of 13 years old won the bronze medal in the discipline Kumite. Both young sportspeople are the repeated winners and prizewinners of international and Russian competitions. Dmitriy Tkachenko is the coach of the young sportspeople. By the results of the championship of Europe in the discipline Kumite among veterans at the age older than 40 years old he took the third place. The tournament under the aegis of the European Shotokan Karate-do Association is being conducted for the 27th time. National teams of 22 countries - 700 sportspeople participated in the competitions.
