Russia will conduct the international exhibition of ship-building and development of infrastructure of the continental shelf

The first in Russia international specialized exhibition Offshore Marintec Russia, which is dedicated to ship-building and development of infrastructure of the continental shelf, will take place in Saint-Petersburg on the 7th-10th of October.

Offshore Marintec Russia will demonstrate potential of Russian and world industry of ship-building, will present advanced experience of marine and transport building. The participants will show innovative elaborations in the sphere of designing of ships of different purposes, equipment and materials for building of marine platforms and technological complexes for exploration and extraction of oil and gas on the shelf. The international contest of scientific and innovative elaborations directed to development of the Arctic will be organized within the conference, as it is informed on the website portnews.ru. It is planned that the action will gather more than 3000 specialists and experts of the branch. Within the previous conference Offshore Marintec Russia, which took place in Moscow, the deputy minister for energy of the Russian Federation Kirill Molodtsov noted that priority directions of development of arctic territories and the continental shelf of Russia were laid into the basis of the conference. He underlined great significance of participation of companies, work of which was concentrated on creation of infrastructure for development of the Arctic and development of the continental shelf, but also federal bodies of the power.
