Sabetta of Yamal is the largest seaport in Russia on deliveries of liquid hydrocarbons

Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug will become the basic source of liquid hydrocarbons, liquefied natural gas and resources. This information was given by the head of Yamal Dmitry Kobylkin within the live broadcasting.

According to him, the President of the country Vladimir Putin was among not many people, who never doubted in opportunities of Russian ships to navigate on the Northern Sea Route the whole year round and that the region would fulfill this project. Many experts said that it was impossible on a row of reasons even before the crisis started. It was difficult, because everything was innovative. Nobody ever fulfilled such projects and on such latitudes anywhere in the world, as the head of the region explains. As he notes, attracted foreign specialists were impressed with the amount of forthcoming work and severe climate conditions. After startup of the seaport of Sabetta Russia received the opportunity of year-round navigation on the Northern Sea Route, in particular, appearing of the modern icebreaking fleet assisted to that.
