Schoolchildren of Yamal can present their researches on the forum "Vivat, Russia!"

The schoolchildren from Yamal can participate in the 8th annual all-Russian educational historical and patriotic forum "Vivat, Russia!". It will take place in Saint-Petersburg from the 23rd to the 27th of July. The action is dedicated to celebration of the Day of the Navy.

By the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the department of youth policy and tourism of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, pupils of schools, cadet classes, naval cadet corps and schools, representatives of military and patriotic associations and clubs, establishments of additional education for children can participate in the forum. The delegation will include 5 pupils of the 7th-11th forms and their supervisor. They should prepare the presentation and defense of research works dedicated to history and culture of their native land, reforms of Peter the First and history of Russia as the sea power. Also the contest for knowledge of historical and cultural legacy of Saint-Petersburg, the historical and patriotic quiz dedicated to dates of Russian history will take place. Laureates of the contests within the forum will be awarded with cups, diplomas, medals and memorable prizes. Pupils of senior school will be recommended for education in higher educational institutions of Saint-Petersburg. Senior school pupils will receive grants for participation in the 12th All-Russian interacademic conference of young researchers "Education. Science. Profession", which will take place next March in Saint-Petersburg. The almanac "Young intellectuals of Russia" – a collection of annotations to research works by schoolchildren and students will be published by the results of conducting of the youth educational activities. The program of the forum includes visits to higher education institutions of Saint-Petersburg, participation in master-classes dedicated to Alexander Pushkin (a great poet of Russia) and also holiday events to the Day of the Russian Navy.
