Yamal will suggest products of reindeer husbandry to Chinese partners. The first deputy director of the department of international and external economic relations of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Sergey Uramayev told about it in Yekaterinburg within the forum on assistance to trade and economic cooperation between China and Russia in Ural region.

Sergey Uramayev says that the region cooperates with China and plans to develop relations further. “Yamal LNG” is one of grandiose projects being fulfilled with Chinese investments. It needs to understand that cooperation with China is one of priority directions in policy of the Russian Federation. Therefore, Yamal can not stay aside, as he explains. In the prospect Yamal plans to develop mutually profitable cooperation with China in the sphere of reindeer husbandry – it can deliver sub-products, pelts and antlers. As for venison and fish, it can be discussed, but it is early to talk about. As Sergey Uramayev says, within the Russian delegation Yamal will participate in the 4th Russia-China EXPO, which will take place in Harbin in June. It is possible to develop other spheres of cooperation with Chinese partners. The participants of the forum in Yekaterinburg are discussing basic directions and prospects of interregional cooperation between Russian and China within fulfillment of the strategy “One Belt, One Road”, opportunities and priority directions of participation of Chinese enterprises in development of Ural region. Besides, the talk is about a role of small and medium business of Ural region in interregional cooperation of the two countries. The program of the forum includes the plenary session on a role of Ural region in relations of Russia and China – basic directions and prospects of development and the panel discussion on practical aspects of interregional cooperation of Russia and China.
