Tamisier bullets, bomb fragments, a cannon ball. The exhibition about the heroic deed of Sevastopol was presented in Noviy Urengoy

The online exhibition “The heroic deed of Sevastopol” dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory was opened in the museum of fine arts of the town Noviy Urengoy. By that significant date the museum employees prepared the exposition, which included the richest illustrated materials and also rare things. Among them there are Tamisier bullets, bomb fragments, a real cannon ball, a Mosin’s rifle, hardhats, fragments of a Shpagin’s machine gun.

The exhibition is telling about the first defense of Sevastopol in 1854-1855, the second defense -in 1941-1942 and about liberation of the town from German-Romanian troops in 1944. With help of specially made bright art-objects the organizers tried to immerse the audience into atmosphere of those days and vividly to illustrate the way of the Soviet troops – from defense to liberation of Sevastopol.

Items for the exposition were given by the Victory Museum from Moscow and the museum of the regional public organization – the Sevastopol association of search teams “DOLG”.
