"Taymyr" is piloting "Yuri Arshenevsky" from Archangelsk to Sabetta

The nuclear-powered icebreaker "Taymyr" is piloting the ship "Yuri Arshenevsky" from Archangelsk to the port of Sabetta situated in Yamal. This information is given in the press-service of Atomflot.

According to the information given by the deputy director general on exploitation of fleet Andrey Smirnov, after the temperature decrease the process of unloading in the port of Sabetta is conducted slowly. In spite of the fact that three moorings were input to operation, two ships are waiting for their turn at anchorage. As we should note, the sea port of Sabetta is situated on the Ob River near the settlement Sabetta. The port is being built on the project of "Yamal LNG" that supposes production of liquefied natural gas on the base of the South-Tambey gas condensate field and its transportation on the Northern Sea Route. Till 2040 cargo turnover of the port should be increased up to 70 million tons per year.
