The action “The Ribbon of Saint George”. It needs to wear it correctly

The action “The Ribbon of Saint George” was started around the whole country. In Yamal the official distribution of black-orange ribbons is being started on the 28th of April.

As it is noted in the regional center for patriotic education, this year more than 30 thousand ribbons will be distributed. Till the main holiday – the Victory Day – volunteers will give ribbons to everyone. The Ribbon of Saint George became a recognizable symbol of the Victory. The organizers had this aim more than 10 years ago. But, looking at it, each person remembers his personal history. Ribbons of Saint George are distributed also beyond the limits of Russia. Tens of countries joined the action. The organizers remind that the Ribbon of Saint George is not just a decoration. Therefore they call not to tie it on a bag or an antenna of a car but to wear according to the rules: on the chest on the left side.
